Why most beginners never get to a paid deal

Most beginners get stuck in one of these four places.

01

You don't know where to start.

The info is everywhere.

One video says you need a portfolio, the next says you don't.

So you save the videos and tell yourself you'll start on Monday.

02

Your portfolio is taking forever.

Scripts, filming, editing, then starting over.

"Finishing the portfolio… took me forever"is one of the most common things beginners say.

03

Your pitches go nowhere.

You get ghosted.

Or a brand offers you free product and a coupon code.

04

You only know one way in.

You email brands because that's what every video tells you to do.

Nobody told you there's a second way.

Every one of these can be fixed. You've just been figuring it out alone.

The two doors

There are 2 ways brands pay beginners. Most people only know one.

If you've only been emailing brands, you've been using half the doors.

Door 1

Paid campaign apps

Apps like Kora and SideShift post campaigns from brands looking for creators.

You apply with your portfolio.

If you're picked, you get paid per video or per month.

My first paid deal came through this door, on Day 7.

Door 2

Pitching brands directly

You find brands in your niche and send them a pitch.

This is the one everyone talks about.

It works a lot better with the right brand list and a pitch that gets opened.

With me, you use both. More doors, more chances at your first yes.

Why 20 pitches isn't enough

Getting picked takes volume.

A lot of beginners send around 20 pitches, hear nothing and decide UGC doesn't work.

I sent about 100 applications before my first deal.

Teepo sent 229 before his first $750 deal.

So we aim for 100 applications and pitches, you track every one, and I go over your numbers with you so you know what to fix.

Why you should listen to me

I started from zero at 21, too

My results

  1. Day 1Zero UGC experience.
    I learned 5 to 8 hours a day.
  2. Day 7First paid deal.
    Afterly Vault, $400.
  3. Day 12About $5,000 in deals.
  4. Day 33My first $10K month.
  5. Now$10K a month from UGC, and I teach it.
Day 7[Afterly payment screenshot]
Day 12[Highlight: "How I Made $5,000 in 12 Days"]

A couple of months ago I was an unemployed college student, watching my parents stress about bills.

Before that I made money with trading content, but I was stressed all the time.

So I walked away to put God first.

God wasn't asking me to avoid money. He was teaching me not to make money my god.

So on September 9th I started over, and documented every day in public.

I tried a few things.

UGC worked fastest.

At 5am I posted a story saying I'd land my first deal.

At 1am that night, I did. $400, Day 7.

People started asking me how.

So now I teach it, and I still do my own deals.

It's all still in my highlights.

Is this for you?

Be honest. This isn't for everyone.

This is for you if

  • You're new to UGC, or you've watched the videos but haven't been paid by a brand yet
  • You're OK on camera, or nervous but willing to practice
  • You have a phone that films well (an iPhone helps)
  • You'll spend a little on basics like a tripod and a light
  • You can give it about 5 hours a week for 6 weeks
  • You live in the US, UK, Canada, Australia or a similar country
  • You're 18 or older
  • You take feedback and get moving without being chased

Skip it if

  • You want to get rich quick, or expect deals in the first couple of days
  • You won't film, apply or pitch consistently
  • You won't show your face
  • You won't spend anything on basic tools
  • You expect us to do all of it. Even with done-for-you, you film, apply, pitch and reply
  • You don't like feedback

And here's the best part…

If you do the work and still haven't landed a paid deal by Day 60, I don't disappear. I keep coaching you, for free, until you do.

No extra fee.

No "sorry, the program's over."

You finish your assignments.

You send your 100 pitches.

And I stay in your corner until a brand pays you.

That's how much I believe in this plan when you actually follow it.

"Doing the work" means every assignment done and 100 pitches sent (applications on the apps count too), shown in your tracker. "A paid deal" means a brand pays you money, not free product. This is a promise to keep coaching you, not a promise of income. Full details on the call.

Questions people ask before they book

Is the call really free?

Yes. 100% free.

It's how we figure out if this is right for you.

Do I need followers?

No.

Brands on these apps pay you for the videos you make for them.

My first paid deal came from an app application, not my following.

Do I need experience?

No. Most people start from zero.

The kickoff call explains what UGC is, the types, and how creators get paid.

I had no UGC experience when I started.

Teepo didn't even know what UGC was when he started.

Can I do it faceless?

Not in this program.

Most campaigns want your face on camera at least some of the time.

Nervous is fine. We'll work on it.

Does it work in my country?

I work with people in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and similar countries.

Teepo is in Australia.

Some campaigns are limited by country, so we check yours on the call.

How many spots are there?

25.

I run every kickoff and check every deal myself, so I keep it small.

When the spots are full, new people go on a waitlist.

How much time does it take?

About 5 hours a week for the 6 weeks.

My team handles the scripts, the editing and your portfolio, so your time goes on filming, applying and pitching.

Is this a course?

No. It's mentorship.

There are short recorded lessons so our calls go to your problems, not the basics.

But the main thing is me: a 1-hour private call with me every week, a group call every week, unlimited chat support, and I check your work and every offer.

Will you build my portfolio?

Yes.

My team writes your scripts, edits your first 2 samples and builds your portfolio.

You film the videos.

How much does it cost?

We go over that on the call, once we both know it's a fit.

There are payment options.

Let's Map Out Your Path Into UGC

Tell us where you're at, what's holding you back, and what you want to achieve.

We'll walk you through how the mentorship works and help you decide if it's the right next step.

And don't worry.

If we don't think it's a good fit, we'll tell you straight, and we'll still point you to what you should do next.

Either way, you leave the call knowing your next step.

  1. Book a time. Answer a few quick questions so we know where you're at.

  2. We talk. You, me and my team. Where you are, what's blocking you, and what your first 6 weeks could look like.

  3. You decide. If it's a fit, we'll explain how to join. If not, we'll tell you straight and point you to a better next step.

I only take 25 people, because I check everyone's work and every deal myself. When the spots are full, new people go on the waitlist.
